We are really thankful to you to be an essential part of the Sharad Pawar Inspire Fellowship Program, an initiative of YashwantRao Chavan Centre. Agriculture, Literature and Education are three areas of fellowship announced this year and the fellows were awarded in an inauguration ceremony which was held recently at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai on 11th December 2021.  The 80 (40 male and 40 female candidates) fellows from 36 districts of Maharashtra were selected under the Agriculture fellowship program and screened thoroughly based on their insights provided in the application.

Innovation and Incubation Centre at Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati organized 21 days of Hands-on training on advanced Agricultural technology for these fellows starting from 27th  December 2021 to 19th  January 2022. These 21 Days program covered the topics like Greenhouse Technology and Practices, Advanced Dairy Technology & Practices, Consumer-Centric Marketing, Climate Resilient Approach in Agriculture, IPR, Agricultural Marketing, Virtual Sessions on Quantum Computing, Augmented Reality, GIS/ Computer Vision, IoT /ML, Basics of 3D Printing, Introduction to Robotics in Agriculture, Design Thinking sessions & Concept Prototyping, Business Model & Pitch, Soft Skill & Personality Development and Critical Report Writing. We also organized a few interactive guidance sessions for these fellows where we called Agri-entrepreneurs, Renowned Educationists, Start-up Founders to inspire these fellows with their success stories and share the insights on their journey as an entrepreneur.

Some of the eminent personalities who interacted with fellows in these 21 days are Hon. Rajendra Pawar, Chairman, ADT, Baramati, Mr Vivek Sawant, Head MKCL, Mrs Usha Barwale Zehr, Director and Chief Tech officer, Mahyco Pvt. Ltd, Dr Sudhir Goel, Former Additional Chief Secretary of Agriculture & Marketing in Gov. of Maharashtra, Dr Ajit Jaokar, Artificial Intelligence Course Director, Oxford University, Mr Max Hao Lu, Head of Technology, Bloomberg New Economy Forum), Mr Vilas Shinde, Sahyadri Farmers Producers Company. Fellows also got an opportunity to interact and share their Smart goals with Hon Sharad Pawar Ji in a session at Baramati. Even I had an opportunity to have one to one interaction with fellows at the end of Bootcamp to know their experiences while 21 days learning program.

The 21-day Bootcamp ended with a Concluding Ceremony organized at Agricultural Development Trust, Baramati in the presence of Hon. Sharad Pawar Ji, Hon. Ajit Pawar, Hon. Vivek Sawant, Hon. Pratap Pawar, Hon. Vitthal Maniyar and Hon. Vijay Shirke ji.

These 21 days immersive experience was a real transformation for fellows as per their feedback and reflection received. We are trying to improve further with more strength and for the same, we would really need guidance or suggestions from your end to do better in the next Bootcamp. These 1st batch fellows will be connected to us for a further 1-year mentorship and incubation program to accomplish their smart goals set in this 21-day Bootcamp.
